What do I need to run it?
A Windows or Mac computer, a TV or monitor, and a cable to connect them. Rates Board uses the second screen for the board and leaves the main screen free for normal work.
Where do the rates come from?
From the system you already use. You keep entering rates there as you do today and Rates Board shows them on the TV. Tell us what system you have and we will confirm it works before you start the trial.
Could it change or damage my data?
No. Rates Board only reads your rates. It is built so that it cannot change anything in your system.
What happens if the connection drops?
The board keeps showing the last rates it received and updates again as soon as the connection is back. You will not end up with a blank screen.
Does my information leave the shop?
No. Rates Board does not send your rates or any other details to us.
Who can change the settings?
Your staff can change how the board looks and which ads run. The setup settings are protected by an owner PIN.
How do the trial and the licence work?
You get 14 days with every feature, with no card and no account. After that, each computer running a board needs a licence from us at $29 a month, or $290 a year, which gives you two months free. If a licence is not renewed, the TV shows a notice instead of old rates.
